Zero Count is another puzzle game based on the classic Tetris. As you may surely know, there are lots of these games on the web, and probably, what makes you want to try a new version are the new twists or variants it includes. In this case, what you will find in Zero Count is a basic Tetris gameplay, with a cool interface, and the chance to play with a friend simultaneously to see who gets a higher place on the online scores. The gameplay and rules are the same; those who have played Tetris know them by heart. With the aim of getting a high score in mind, you have to form chains with at least three blocks of the same color, rotating the blocks in the most convenient way while preventing them from reaching the top of the screen. There is a multicolor block that can replace all other colors, which can save you when the game seems to be over. By creating chains of more than 3 blocks, you will receive extra points and bonuses that can really improve your final score. It also includes a two player mode, allowing you to compete with a friend, either using the keyboard or a joystick. The interface has very attractive colors and displays a background image that changes level after level.
To sum up, a new version of a classic, actually with nothing new to offer, still addictive enough to keep you playing for hours.
